Returns, Cancellations & Shipping
As a consumer, you buy from professional sellers on Knalveilingen. That’s why, in most cases, you have a legal right of withdrawal—even for auctions you’ve won. Below, you can read how that works, along with our shipping and delivery information.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days cancel the purchase upon receipt without giving a reason. This cooling-off period also applies to products you have won through an online auction: online auctions conducted by a business to a consumer fall under not under the legal exception for public auctions, and therefore the right of withdrawal applies as usual.
How do you cancel?
Please submit your notice of withdrawal within the specified time frame through us Standard Withdrawal Form or with another unambiguous statement via the Contact Page. You must then return the product within 14 days. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the product, unless otherwise stated.
Refund
After a valid cancellation, we will refund the full purchase amount—including any standard shipping costs paid—within 14 days, using the same payment method. We may wait to issue the refund until we have received the product or you have provided proof that you have returned it.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to, among other things: products that are sealed for hygienic reasons and whose seal has been broken, products that spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life, and products that are custom-made or manufactured according to your specifications. For a specific lot, we will indicate if an exception applies.
Product condition: During the cooling-off period, you may inspect the product just as you would in a store. If you go beyond what is necessary, we may deduct a depreciation fee.
Shipping & Delivery
Depending on the seller, you can have your winning lots and orders delivered or pick them up yourself. Shipping costs and, where applicable, the free shipping threshold are clearly displayed before checkout. There are no shipping costs for in-store pickup. The expected delivery or pickup date is listed with your order.
